I surprised everyone this week with a try on session at Dick’s Sporting Goods. It was so much fun to actually take the time to try on everything I have been eyeing, but without my three kids along! We are usually in the store a hurry, grabbing a football mouth guard on our way to game or picking up a new pair of shoes to replace a pair that were trashed…you know. #momlife

I was pleasantly surprised by the DSG (Dick’s Sporting Goods) Brand. They have cute items at great prices. I don’t find the quality and softness of the sweatshirts or fleece as high as Adidas or Nike, but for half the price, you’ll be happy.
My absolute favorite item of the try on was the red DSG puffer purse I grabbed. It brightens my wintery spirits with the happy Cherry Ice Color.
The $20 DSG Blanket Scarves will make great gifts this holiday season. They are similar to the quality of a Target blanket scarf, but with a more unique color way. You know how it is when you buy a super cute Target scarf and everyone you run into has the same one!
The Sorel Boots Selection was impressive. I was happy with the price point. Most of these boots are in the $100-130 price range. I love Sorel boots because they are waterproof–an absolute necessity in Chicago in winter.
These shoes are like a mix between a slipper and a sneaker and a low boot. Yes, please!
Sorel Out N About Plus Conquest in Quarry or Black
I brought these last Sorel Boots home with me. They are warm and fuzzy inside a tall, waterproof boot with a sneaker sole. It’s a great combination for days when you are running around in the cold, in and out of your car.
I hope enjoyed this unconventional location! Let me know which place you’d like me to go next!
